| Laboratory Consultation Services, Inc. was founded in 1978 by a group of experienced laboratory professionals to provide consulting services to commercial and physician-office based clinical laboratories. These services included training of laboratory staff in infection control practices to comply with existing state and federal regulations. When OSHA began requiring compliance with regulations on blood borne pathogens, these services became part of our portfolio. When in 1992 New York State began requiring Infection Control Training as part of the licensing process for medical, dental and other health professionals, we were uniquely situated to become one of the first providers of this training to be approved by New York State. Recognizing the growing importance of the Internet, we took the course online a few years later. In response to requests by clients, we added skilled, experienced mental health professionals to our staff and developed the Child Abuse Prevention Training and School Violence Prevention courses. These were approved by New York State for all professions in the online format and are available 24/7 on the Internet at www.nyscourses.com. Our
courses have been successfully completed by thousands of professionals in (to
